The QBC Draw keeps setting new records and August sees a new biggest ever prize being paid out.
Keith Harper from Aylesbury wins £1067.20 after one of his numbers, 687, was on the first ball drawn out of the bag at Thursday’s Trust members meeting.
On being told of his won, Keith’s immediate response was “Wow, that is a wonderful surprise. Absolutely delighted and very timely with a short holiday coming up”
Keith has been a Wanderers fan since March 1971 when his Dad took him to Loakes Park to see Wycombe play Skelmersdale United in the FA Amateur Cup. Sadly the Wanderers lost that day but little did Keith know then, but that wa sonly the start as he became a regular visitor to Loakes Park over the years. Non league football brought its ups and down until of course the FA trophy and promotion successes in the early 1990s.
Keith has been a season ticket holder since the club moved to Adams park, attending matches with his son Michael, son in law Richard and great friends Andy, Kev and Pootes with who he has enjoyed some great away days too.
Keith tells us “Wycombe has always been a big part of our family and through good or not so good times, it has been a privilege to watch the club grow in stature in professional football.”
