No trick as Diane gets a Halloween treat!

The October Quarters Ball Club draw was made at last night’s Trust members meeting and the first ball drawn out was number 842. This belongs to Diane Timson, from Longwick, who wins £1070.40.

The blue quartered ball jackpot rolls over to November when someone could win about £13000**

Diane got a lovely surprise this morning when receiving our email message with the good news of her win. She said it “certainly brightened up a dreary rainy Friday morning”

A job move for her husband in the late eighties necessitated them relocating to this area. With him having to work on a Saturday, Diane started coming along to Adams Park with their two sons when the ground first opened, to support their local team. Diane had previously watched Watford with her Dad.

They first had season tickets in the ‘old bike shed’ until 1996 when they queued to secure seats in the brand new Family Stand. Diane has now sat in exactly the same seat for the last 30 years.
Her sons grew up, so neighbours children occupied their seats, till they moved on. Then for the last 10+ years 2 of her grandchildren (now aged 18 and 15) sit there.

3 generations of true Blues which Diane says “epitomises the family friendly nature of Wycombe Wanderers – football as it should be”

With 5 grandchildren, Diane expects that some of her windfall will give them a little extra Xmas present. She loves gardening so might purchase a tree or shrub and watch it grow along with Wycombe! She would also like to ‘give a little back’ in some way!

Thanks Diane for supporting this lottery scheme for the last 4 years and well done on being the October winner.

** If the jackpot is not won in November or December, then we will give away 3 prizes in December’s draw, totalling £4000. We hope to hold this draw at the New Years Day game vs Cardiff City.
