FALL Memorabilia Group – SURPLUS PROGRAMMES FROM OUR ARCHIVES
Over the years programme collections have been donated to the club and adding these to those already on site we have now created an archive of match programmes. As a result of this exercise, we have library copies of nearly all matches going back to 1949/50 season.
We have identified many duplicate copies, which have been sorted into seasons, dating back to the 1970’s and we would like to offer these to our fans. If you are interested in any of these, either in batches, or individual requests, then please contact Phil Ball directly on philball762@btinternet.com who will review your requests and deal with the handover.
Whilst we are not charging for these programmes, we would appreciate a donation of your choice to Prostate Cancer UK which Phil can arrange with you at the time of collection or please see Alan Cecil on a matchday.
We would like to thank the numerous people who have kindly donated their collections to the club over the last few years. The largest collections being received from the family of the late Ian Mitchell and from Phil Ball who has donated his own extensive collection. These have enabled us to create our archive to hold for posterity.
Once again, if you would like to add to or start your own programme collection please contact Phil Ball by email at philball762@btinternet.com for more details.
Phil will discuss collection options, one option being to pick up from us on matchdays between now and Christmas.
The closing date for your enquiries is Wednesday 17 December after which, due to lack of storage space, we will dispose of any that have not been claimed.
