The December Quarters Ball Club draw was held over until New Years Day and the balls were pulled out of the bag by Bobby Lynch the captain of Wycombe Wanderers Women – see video at end of article.
A record number of 1389 balls had been sold for this draw.
The first ball drawn was number 1173 , so the rollover jackpot was NOT won. If that was the case, then we had agreed instead to pay out 3 super prizes totalling £4000 to the owners of the first three balls drawn.
Ball 1173 is one of the maximum 15 numbers bought monthly by a syndicate of 29 staff members at club sponsors Whiffaway, so they will share out the sum of £2500.
Coincidentally the same group won the December 2024 draw when their prize was £1042.

The second ball drawn out by Bobby was number 1150 and this belonged to Steve Phillips who wins for the first time in his 24th draw.
Steve lives in Princes Risborough and is a fourth generation Wanderers fan and a season ticket holder in the Frank Adams Stand.
His connection with WWFC goes back to the early 1900s thanks to his great grandfather Thomas Phillips. As well as being a big supporter of the club, Thomas was also the landlord of the Swan Hotel in Pauls Row, where the Wanderers committee often met.
Steve says he will spend his unexpected winnings of £1000 on a snowboarding holiday!

The third ball drawn out was number 1221 and for this we paid out £500 to John Barnes from Stokenchurch.
John has been following the Chairboys since 1967.
He plans to spend his prize money on a weekend away with his wife.

Thanks to everyone who took part.
Your Trust Board will again review how the QBC draw is going later this year and decide if and when any further ‘super draw’ is warranted. The ‘blue quarters ball jackpot’ will now be reset to at least £10000 and continue to rollover and accumulate if not won.
The January QBC draw will be held at our next Members Meeting on Thursday 29th January (7 till 8pm at Adams Park).
Entries are open until the end of the 25th January and you can enter via this link
