The first ball drawn from the bag of over 1340 balls last Thursday was number 1182.
This belonged to the 30-person syndicate team from club sponsors Whiffaway Limited, who each month buy between them the maximum 15 balls for £30. So this month they share between them the prize of £1072.80.
When told of their latest win, Whiffaway’s QBC contact Carole said “that’s fantastic”.
Their Chief Operating Officer Seb Marshall, followed up with this:
“We are absolutely delighted to have won the Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust Quarters Ball Draw for a third time as a company syndicate.
To be fortunate once is special, but to achieve three wins in such a short period is something we are incredibly proud of, particularly given the number of participants and the consistency of different winners across the draws.
At WhiffAway, we have always believed in supporting our local community, and the WWST, working with the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation, plays a vital role in delivering meaningful programmes that genuinely make a difference across Wycombe and the surrounding areas, as well as seeking to preserve the future of football in the Wycombe area. Being involved in the Quarters Ball Draw is not only an enjoyable way to engage as a team, but also a simple and effective way for us to contribute to that wider impact.
There is, of course, a great deal of excitement within the team when the draws take place, and this latest win has certainly added to the friendly spirit across the business. We are very grateful to WWST for organising such a well-run initiative and for the opportunity to be part of it.

We should add that over the past five years we have had many different winners. Some of these have just one ball number in the draw whilst others have more, so there is no ‘magic formula’ for how to win!
