As the Supporters Trust Board have just agreed to continue the WWST sponsorship of W3 for a further season at the same figure of £20000, we bring you the story of the season so far and where W3 are right now in their quest for sustainability
Season so Far
W3 started with 3 wins in a row to put 9 points on the board. However they lost the last 2 games to Bristol Rovers 3-1 and Gwalia last Sunday 2-0. Currently they are 5th in the table with 9 points so the next few games are important.
Our next league games are:
11/10 away to Ascot Utd – 0 points so far
19/10 away to Marine Academy Plymouth – 3 points so far and
29/10 home to Abingdon Utd, 9 points and 1 place below us.
W3 have been drawn against Hammersmith FC in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
The match will take place on 4/10 at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub, W3 8LQ and the kick-off is at 3pm.
Season Tickets – details of these have now been announced and full details are available via this link
W3 season tikets are superb value, especially the Family tickets and I hope that many WWST members will take these up.
Funding – W3 are looking to raise a further £10k for this season to ensure that they break even.
They have a number of new sponsorship discussions in hand but we really would like to sign up 10 more Chairgirl Champions (CC).
The cost of becoming a CC is only £375 and it delivers the following benefits:
1 x W3 Family season ticket
Tagged social media post from W3
VIP Sponsors Cup invite
Official photo with player of your choice
Support to players and the club which genuinely makes a difference
And especially for WWST members – An extra W3 Family season ticket and 2 WWFC match tickets if you sign up as a Chairgirls Champion by the 10th October.
Please contact nigemart2019@gmail.com to sign up.
